Monsignor Slattery has long been involved in interfaith work in Cumbria. He was the subject of an article to mark his 60 years in the Priesthood “Breaking Open the Word”, in the respected interfaith journal Faith Initiative: Embracing Diversity, Issue 31 (2014) 22.
