National Interfaith Week is from 13th to 20th November 2016. This year what has become our customary event at the Town Hall is on Tuesday 15th November in the Bindloss Room on the ground floor. We are starting off with coffee, tea and cakes at 12.00 noon with the monies raised being donated to the Kendal to Calais Group to help them continue their good work with the refugees which you may have read about in the Westmorland Gazette. From 12.30pm local faith groups will share readings, poems and prayers as we reflect on what it means for all of us to Belong.
We hope to see old friends and new. You can see the readings from last year here.
On Sunday 20th November at 11.00am there will be an Interfaith Service at Kendal Unitarian Chapel on Branthwaite Brow, Market Place, Kendal. Again the theme will be Belonging and different faith groups will be taking part. All are most welcome. The Service will end at around 11.45am and will be followed by refreshments in the Schoolroom.
